- You typically lose eligibility for Marketplace subsidies
- Keeping your ACA plan can become very expensive
When to Switch
You should enroll in Medicare during your Initial Enrollment Period:
- Starts 3 months before your 65th birthday
- Ends 3 months after
How the Transition Works
- Your Marketplace plan should be canceled when Medicare begins
- You’ll choose between:
